Well i say this that will be so dam hard and it will probably take like 3-4 hours if you guys didnt read the forms. But when i get to that lvl im so going to try to do it just to say i did. btw might want to make a lot of shrines available because clerics can only rise ppl so much and dont have unlimited sp. Other than that that seems soo cool.
Guess you never even ran shroud on normal yet. So why are you worried about epic?
The thread assume people are familiar with normal shroud, guess I should of pointed that out first.
Anyways, normal shroud phase3 = If you can neither complete the puzzles, nor lockpick the doors.. You have a third option: Smash the crystasl above the door and escape. I didn't say that this option will be removed on epic, infact I explicitly said it would still be there, and the crystals HP wouldnt scale much.
So your a gimp WF sorc, and infact the entire party is (lol, if 1 of your 12 members don't have high stats, I don't imagine you would even make it to phase3, but i digres) ... Smash the crystals and move on. Yea you don't get teh chest, too bad, there' for the smarter players who know how to do puzzles.

Really? I thought only phase 2,3 and 5 did. So 3 of 5. On epic it would be 4 of 6 I think.. Should put some temporary pools in phase6 as well.
However every phase has a rest shrine (even 5).. And epic players have millions of plat and access to near unlimited resources, so this raid really won't be an issue.
Infact if they release it anything like this.. I will personally provide all resources to everyone in the raid for the first 50 runs. After that I will probably be broke (or richer then my wildest imaginations from all the epic loot we find)![]()
I like what I read so far but what consession do monks get for weapons.
Already the DPS is an issue for monks with the lack of Greensteel weapons. If GS weapons were upgraded as you suggest or even close to it, a monk falls even furthur behind the DPS scales.
Just my concern for my 2xTR'd Monk.

Not neassarily going to get worst in comparison by much more. Monks are already leaps and bounds behind the epic sword of shadow. The t4 greensteel would only be around on par with it, not really better.
So monks will be just as far behind, just in a larger variety of situations vs a larger variety of builds. The devs said they will never make greensteel handwraps.. So yea.. Get a Kama and learn to love it.
Whatever concerns 1 class has about a raids, raidloot.. Should not and will not effect the release of said content.
Likewise I have no interest on in VoD epics loot on any of my characters, but it should still be released.
Monkls simply have to pray for ToD epic at around the same time as Shroud epic.. To get epic rings.
Epic rings could even it out a bit.
Part 2
Should give you all the LTs. After all it's epic right? So toss them all out there. By putting out all of them it will be challenging in some way other than the same (we can't think of a way) HP and AC and Immunities way they always use, and reduce the immunities.
Part 5
Let the LTs and their boss come at the same time. Make the LTs keep returning to life as long as he is alive. Take off their immunities (most of them) that way they need to be CC or kited while the rest take out the boss. This would also allow casters to be more useful in there.
Lets see an epic that has more than HP AC Immunities and damage output increase.
Throw in some beholders and give harry 100% fort. It's epic, right?
I think Harry should hit for 400 points everytime he hits, but he only has a +50 to hit... So anyone with a 70 AC or higher would be safe....

I always love how Shade's "suggestions" always favor max DPS barbarians only... Get rid of the locks in part 3, put in runes for 75 STR... LOL
We were running this elite back at level cap 16... with much less greensteel dripping from us. Speed runs on norm in 12-20 minutes...
Now days with the PrE's and the cap of 20 and the only noticable changes in there are having FoM and he teles people sometimes... We're running speed runs on hard or elite. Simply put... a cooporating group is the key to success in a shroud... when everyone is on the same page it runs fine.
trees in part 2 pools in parts 3 and 5... pretty sure that's all cept if you count shrines - only available when each part complete.

Not so much the rich getting richer butgood players becoming so awsome that they can singlehandedly complete most if not all level 20 quests on eleite. So what you end up with is a bunch of plat farmers parking there toons at the entrance or mabey have some 8 year old orphins run there toons along behind Super Epic Dude for the farm. But then I forgot Turbine will figure a way to make money off the orphins so mabey it will hapen.
Personaly I think we should have got more levels not epic difficulty.

I think grazing hits are on like a 10+ on epic anyways. So your 70AC 400 HP tank would die extremely fast. As the grazing hits would do 390 damage (only about 10 could be from strength if his attack bonus is as bad as +50)
The reason epic mobs can hit any AC, is because thats pen and paper rules and it translates to DDO well. +100 str on epics mobs = tons of damage, but also tons of to hit. You cannot have one or the other without blantantly breaking the rules.
Only people able to tank would be 900+ hp Barbarians, take 2 hits, get healed, and keep up the DPS.
So yea, AC fails on epic yet again.
My suggestion has nothing to do with Barbarians. It's YOU that have it YOUR head that they are the best of the best for epic. I said nothing of the sort in this thread.
The runes are available for every single class, and infact there harder for a Barbarian to hit then any other. I think only Half-Orc Barb will realisticly hit 75 without a relying on scourge/madstone procs - which wont be available as water elementals only use magic attacks.
The other runes, especially, int/cha are the easiest. My sorc can already get 46 CHA, and he isn't maxxed out at all. 46 int for a epic palemaster is really quite easy.
