    Hi D'rin --

Was the game fully downloaded and up to date before you removed the Download Manager from your system?

The Turbine Download Manager cannot be uninstalled during the download process. The launcher can download future patches on its own, but cannot complete a download begun with TDM.

Are we ever going to see a real answer for this problem from Turbine? Seems that people have been having this hassle for months and we have yet to get a valid response.

For myself I have no problem running DDO using the old installer/patch method from 4 years back when I joined. However I am unable to get a working copy running for Lamannia. I tried installing via the TDM with no success - error 201. Got rid of TDM and patched manually and got the same thing. I also looked at the Turbine support answers all of which say it is security related. Tried their suggestions none of which worked. As a final test I coped the Lamannia DAT files and patch config into my working standard DDO folder and bang - error 201. Now this is the same folder that I run the normal game out of without a problem so the error has nothing to do with folder security permissions as Turbine Support wish us to believe. If I use the lamannia files in that folder I get 201, but I copy the normal DAT files and config back in and it fires up without a problem. Net result no Lamannia access.

So come on Turbine - give your customers a valid response to this isssue so that we can access test and standard servers without this pesky error 201.

    Unhappy Same problem

DDO client stop working without reason this day.
    Work fine this previous day...

Found 10.000+ files tem*.tmp with a zero size in "C:\Program Files\Turbine\Dungeons and Dragons Online - Eberron Unlimited".

Switch to a new account fix it.

    Reiser.bin:

IF you are using the same user name as yesterday
and IF no files were updated for the game since you last played, then

I suggest run malware scan and possibly make new user name (with administrator priveleges).

If the game did update there is more to look at.

For a better response we would need to know a lot more about your computer and anything you did between yesterday and today.
