Why arent barbarians using 17-20 crit weapons

AS i understand, barbarians gain a enhancement to each critical hit damage with Frenzied Berserker II and FB III.

Why arent most of them taking advantage of this by using weapons that give them more criticals?

I mean, in a simple kopesh vs scimitar argument, the kopesh is better until you get FBII. then they are both equal, and the kopesh should be outclassed by the scimitar by FBIII.

15-20/x4 crit is better than 17-20/x5.

Same thing with 2 handers.

So... what am i missing?

The description is incomplete. The increased critical multiplier only happens on natural rolls of 19 and 20.

Turbine has a few hundred descriptions that they should REALLY update. But they don't.

To make sure I understand:

Assuming a TWF pierce spec:
Using a picks for example the crit would always receive the benefit of the extra crit mulitpliers and be up to x7, as the only way to crit would be 19-20.
Using rapiers, however, there are the potential for two different critial hits. 15-18 generates a normal x2 crit, 19-20 generates x5.

Epic Sword of Shadows in the hand of a THF slash spec barb, would crit x7 19-20 but the usual x4 15-18.

Close, FB I doesn't give +1 crit multiplier so reduce them by 1.
