I know you dev's are trying to make some great spells but why are some spells useless at their level and then used all the time?

I think the dev's should balance out the divine and arcane spells by either:

1) Increasing length, caster level cap, damage, or effect range (such as 10 HD to 20 HD)

2) Remove the spells so we (wizards) dont have to worry about buying scrolls to inscribe.
