Cannot Log onto a Character

Semi relevant to my previous thread which didn't get a reply: I can't log onto a particular character on Orien, Achtar. I can log onto my other character on the same server, a lv 1 and I can log onto characters on other servers, but I can't seem to log onto him. I get stuck on the loading screen at 0% and after a few minutes I get an error message saying that I have lost connection to the server.

Before this happened, I was doing that redfang the unruled dungeon by myself on elite just to see how far I could get, which was, as expected, not very far. However, when I died and clicked release, I got stuck on the loading screen at 0%.

Please help.

I am sorry, but we cannot assist with specific accounts or game issues via the forums.

If you are able to do so, I recommend that you log in on the same server on a different character and submit an in-game ticket. Explain that the character with the issue is stuck, and they may be able to assist you. If you can't submit an in-game help request, then submit a request to in-game via the link in my signature.

How long ago did this happen?

If it was recent, sounds like your character got stuck in a state where it isn't logged in, but the server thinks it is.

What we players did in the past was log into another character and contact an in game GM to get them to release the character. Some times we had to jump to a different server to get a GM to do it because we couldn't log into the server we wanted.

Worst case is that you have a corrupt file now the game uses some part of it in relation to that chacter but not others. In which case if the TDM can not file fix the issue, you'll have to re install. One of my friends had this issue once. For the life of him, he couldn't figure out why on his parents machine only his cleric would crash the game on load but would be fine on his home machine. I told him it was a corupt file probably and re installing should fix it. It worked.

I don't think it is the latter but the first. So... log in when you have several hours you can enjoy, and wait for a GM.

Unfortunately, I'm on a free account, so I can't contact and in-game GM. And according to the email in-game request, I will have to wait 3-5 business days for the issue to be resolved, which is a little too long.

I've already tried the reinstall thing previously and it didn't help.

Also, this has been happening since sunday on and off. On wednesday, it seemed to be resolved, but its started happening again and every time it happens, its only on Achtar, never on any other character.

Emm... lvl 6, nothing really standing out... Seems to be account related...

Ok, last 2 ideas I have.

1. Delete him and reroll. At lvl 6 it isn't that bad. Yeah, it sucks, but if there is a database issue, maybe this would fix it.

2. Change your password to your account. Who knows if someone is having fun with you. You should be told you are active already, but... no telling.

oh yeah, your ad breastplate does not stack with your barb DR. Once you get your barb DR equal to or better than the breast plate, ditch it for something else.

The last idea I have, you'd have to be network engineer to really be able to figure out for certain. As of such, I could only give the base gist of what my ponderment is as I don't have the knowledge to really dive into it.
Well.. you could do part of it easily enough. Reboot your whole network. Router, modem, and anything else attached to your network.

My beholder buddy tells me that you can actually submit a Tech support ticket. Their turn around is pretty quick.

An interesting turn of events, now I can no longer log into the game on either on my characters on the Orien server, thereby keeping me from asking a paid account holder to submit an in-game ticket for me.

I can still however log into characters on other servers.

EDIT: Once again, it has decided to work and I can log into Achtar and my other character. However, I'm 100% sure this will happen again, so I can only hope the tech guys fix it soon.
