Can't see the ground?

Hi,

for some reason, when im playing DDO i cannot see the ground! i can see the water that is under it, but not the actual ground. i can see the ground while inside of dungeons, but otherwise i cannot and it is impossible to go anywhere in the wild because i cannot see the cliffs or anything (though i can see the water)

i have an iMac running Windows XP on bootcamp @_@

i also installed directX, but i cannot click the check-mark saying to run the game with directX graphics (though when i downloaded directX 10, it said i have a newer or equivilant version)

I have the exact same issue and I am on windows 7, I have just posted about it. I think I need to reinstall to fix it, If I do and it works I will let you know.
