Can't Log into my Characters on Orien

So yeah, I've only been playing this game for a few weeks. I just started the quests in House Kundarak and logged out last night. This morning I tried to log in and was surprised to see the loading screen stay at 0 after I selected my character (Achtar) to enter. It stays at zero until I close the game manually. I tried logging in over the day, but still no luck, I kept getting stuck at the loading screen after I select either of my characters.

I then went on another server (Ghallandra) and made a character just to see if it would work. It did, so I went around doing a few starter quests and then traveling to Stormreach. I logged out and managed to log back in. I've done it several times, so it appears that my character on Ghallandra works, but neither of my characters on Orien seem to work.

I've done everything regarding firewalls and anti-virus programs and after that failed, I even uninstalled and reinstalled it and it still doesn't work.

A bit of an update: I managed to just log in on Achtar and went to do Forgotten Caverns on Casual to see if it would work. The loading screen for it was stuck at 0 for 5 minutes, so I exited the game. I tried to log on again only to see the problem was back: I get stuck on the loading screen at 0 after selecting a character.

EDIT: It seems to be working alright now. I haven't tried to enter any more dungeons, though.

I've encountered a similar problem. A more-technically-oriented friend ran through some troubleshooting and we found some specifics:

* My problem doesn't appear to be character-specific, but it IS specific to the House Kundarak instance on Orien. Trying to enter the House K enclave (through Market door or teleport) results in an unresp[onsive load screen.
* Once you get hosed in this fashion, that character is considered "in House K." That means that you will be unable to enter the world with that character (you'll get the unresponsive load screen when you try). When this happens, don't try to enter the world as you usually would (with ENTER button). Instead, use "Transport to Eberron." This by-passes House K and allows you to appear in the Hall of Heroes (further evidence the issue is with the House K instance).
* It does seem to be specific to the Orien server. Attempts on other servers encountered no problems.
* It DOES seem to be client-specific. My friend lives in another state -- he could log in with my account on his PC and run any of my characters through Kundarak with no problem.
* Ran chckdsk /r. No issues found.
* Just to be sure, we uninstalled all of the virus/malware programs and turned off forewalls, then lowered the graphic quality to minimums. Didn't resolve problem.

I am now at the point where I believe I can safely quest ... as long as I don't try to enter the House K enclave. Have put in a trouble ticket ... hoping something will come of that (House K was my usual log-in/log-out point, due to proximity to Crafting Hall and vendors). But ... now it is with the unwashed masses of the Marketplace. ;-)
