    Default Greensteel Crafting Recipe Idea

Since Greensteel was implimented in the game, there are still many players who accidently make the wrong GS blank or a tiered effect. While there are online tools or recipe lists written out on the forums, people still make mistakes. After playing LOTRO and seeing their recipes and crafting tree that lays out directly for each player using it what ingredients you need, how many of each ingredients you need or other items that you might need for a particulare recipe. And honestly, adding that system here for a better over-view while you craft might just take away mistakes and any headache a player might get trying to sift through GS blank or GS crafting recipes.

Basically, every character once you reach the minimum level and can get to Meridia will talk to an NPC. She will unlock the GS Blank and GS Crafting tree that is empty. Once that is done, you can start buying the recipes for each blank or tiered effect you care to. Or you can buy all the recipe scrolls to get all of them on that character who does this. It would show up as an extra tab on the left side of your character sheet, open it and there would be one branch with GS Blank items listed, another for GS Tiered effects listed. Reading a recipe will unlock each to show the required ingredients, the number you must use, how many you might possess if you want to make multiple of those items, etc. Much like how LOTRO impliments it.

Once you read any particular recipe, that character will permanently posssess within that tree that recipe for you to open up to use or read when you want. This is not a replacement of us making GS Items or effects. None of that changes and you can craft without even using this. This just basically allows you as a player to look at to make sure you never have to worry about making mistakes with it. A visual aid for the most part.

Doing this will have addition bonuses, in testing that is. "If" they plan to add more recipes like in the Ice Event OR if they decide to add a full crafting system for our characters, this could be used to test it on live servers. Even if they do neither, this idea itself would help out all players for the convience of having every GS recipe right on your character sheet.
