Ok, I plan on reincarnating my monk soon.....when i do i want him to be super hard to kill......of course. This means he needs pretty high hit points, great if not uber saves, and most importantly a great AC. I plan on doing a finesse light path monk. Nobody needs to tell me that dark path is better and light path monks suck....I have tried both and both light and dark monks can kill things. Dark monks kill things really fast.Over the course of....lets say a minute, the dark monk might do 60% more damage......but over the course of 20-30 minutes....does the huge damage output last? maybe if your a very well rolled dark monk and you have a cleric handy. But in my humble opinion there is no way a dark monk can last anywhere near as long as a light monk when it comes to playing with pug groups or soloing. That being said you probably now know more about what i am looking for. I want a straight monk that can last super long and requires minimum(maybe zero) aid/outside resources. If i have to sit and beat on something for a minute so be it.
What I am hoping to see fit into this build:
-High AC
-moderately high Hp
-High saves
-Power attack
-Dragon marks(if there is room)
-Full twf line of course
-Rise of the Phoenix and everything needed for it
-50 concentration by lvl 20
Here are my current Halfling monk's starting stats:
Str-12
Dex-18
Con-14
Int-8
Wis-16
Chr-8
I'm looking for anything helpfully related to this build....34 point stat advice, gear/greensteel advice, Feats, or anything else that could help me build this guy right. Keep in mind that damage is not my concern because a monk is gonna deal damage no matter what. I am far more interested in getting a really high ac and trustworthy saves.
I am not vip and have limited access to some content. I do have vale and gianthold and I do want to buy more content....any suggestions on this will be gladly taken......Thank you all in Advance.
