the one and only, Broccolli Quest!

2x Level 8 base quests, level 9 final quest


Farmer Tom Jones has a problem, something's up with his vegetable patch. There an allmighty hole where his broccolli field used to be. A fissure is now gaping in his paddocks, he cant even see the bottom of the hole. What's worse is that his wife betty was working that afternoon in the patch when Tom was in town selling his produce. Now she's missing! The lightning storm that was due that afternoon must have been fierce, there's storm damage to all the fields. Water drips down the hole from rivulets that criss cross the fields.
That shifty transmuter that lives at the edge of the old woods in that derelict castle always looked at betty in a way tom never liked when he came to buy some food, maybe he's got something to do with her disappearance!.
Tom wants something done about it right now!

You can choose to explore the hole or go to the wizards locale.


**** spoiler below ****

(storyline wise: You'll have to go to both anyway, you'll need the reversion wand from the wizards place to remove the "changed" plant walls that block your access to the lower underground area) The wizards place is full of minor changed plants and creatures, results of his earlier experimentation.

The hole is full of undergound denizens who've been smashed by the mutant plants and especially the transmorphed brocolli who's becomes something else. Theres also quite a few beholders pasted into the walls who found the brocolli just too much for them.
The wizard did sort of make a boo-boo when he got engulfed by the brocolli, he was wearing his immunity to disintergration belt, which the beast now inherited. Hence the beholders problem.

After "subduing" the mound, you use the reversion WAND on it to convert the tissue back to harmless brocolli again)
