    Unhappy Why does D&D Online disable Windows 7 Aero features?

    I like the game's graphics and sounds. I do not like how the game disables Windows 7 Aero functionality. Could they fix that please?

    What happens is that the game causes Windows 7 to popup a message when the game begins saying this program has performed an action requiring Windows 7 to resort to Windows Basic window colors and Aero functionality will resume after the program exits. I would of course prefer to let my Windows color theme stay the same during gameplay.

    Go to your UserPreferences.ini (Documents>DDO folder) and change this line:
    "AllowDesktopCompositing=False" to "AllowDesktopCompositing=True" and you're set
