That is the question...I didn't know exactly which sub-forum to post this, so the default is here is general...
The question is: When to ditch armor? Game mechanics being what they are, at a certain level, AC is near useless unless one specifically builds for it. Now, when is that? I played around yesterday on my Bard, level 9, and switched out her armor for an Improved False Life (+20 hp's) robe. AC went from a 23/24 to 13 when using the Rage spell. Solo'd a few quests (WW on elite, and the House K troll one on hard) with a cleric hireling (didn't want to subject a group with my experimentation) and found I wasn't taking that much more damage. In fact, with a 75% fort item on, the incoming damage "seemed" to be quite a bit less over-all.

Is this a correct strategy? Or am I making more work for healers?
