Strange queueing or Lag issue

Is anyone else having a strange sort of lag issue? When playing certain quests (this seems to happen a lot on the Caravan quest to get to the desert) my character continues to move and attack properly, but the monsters stop and none of my hits register. When I leave the area I still get damaged/healed slowly (like 1 or 2 hits every 10 seconds) until suddenly it seems to catch up (30-40 hits in 5 seconds). When that happens 9 chances out of 10 my char dies; it seems the monsters still continue to attack normally. During this time though my ping times are < 60 or so and my character moves/attacks smoothly. Its weird, it almost seems like server CPU/Memory Lag vs Network lag... Dunno. Any ideas?

Have to admit that is an odd one, I'm going to toss out some tests, but you may want to follow up with a support ticket if you haven't yet too.

If you connect with a separate router/modem does bypassing the router have any effect?
Does lowering "Graphics Quality" (Options > Graphics) and "Engine Speed" (Options > Troubleshoot) have any effect?
Is your antivirus/internet security running in the background and if so can it be (temporarily) disabled while playing as another test?

I'd definitely follow up on a ticket though they may catch things I miss.

Kust wanted to mention this has happened to me a few times in the last few days. Just now and yesterday for sure though there may have been a couple instances earlier.

I Got the same issue. Happens 4/5 times when i run the caravan quest. Other zones have the same problem. Does anyone have a solution for This problem?

I found another quest that has problem.. The Shadow Crypt in Necroplois. Specifically fighting the boss. This makes this quest unbeatable. It happened twice with me tonight in the same area.
