    Default Giant Evasion Question

Giant Evasion - Dwarves naturally are harder to hit by giants, receiving a +4 AC bonus when attacked by creatures of the giant type.

This probably has been asked before. But does this only work on giants like Troll, Ogre and Giants or does it work on any giant sized monster?

    Thanks,
    Kasen

Not an expert, but I think they mean Giants as a Classification, not monsters that are really freaking big.

Someone told me that Trolls and Ogres are in the "Giant class" with plain ol' Giants. I'd like a definitive answer though.

Technically, this means the type of the monsters... like kobolds and troglodytes are consisdered reptilian. Devils and Demons are considered outsiders... generally evil outsider

Well according to PnP DnD they are, see where it says "Size/Type" :

    Trolls : http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/troll.htm

That +4 AC is for creatures of type/race "Giant," not creatures who are "giant" in size.

To see what race/type a creature is, simply examine it by getting it in your focus orb and hitting 'Z' or pressing the magnifying glass button. Thus, trolls and ogres are also considered giants.
