Question My First Build attempt... a bit lost on the enhancements

With help from a couple people I have been able to get this far... but I am pretty sure my enhancements are out of order, but since I haven't been through all of the content yet I wasn't sure how soon I would be needing things...

The only thing that is completely mandatory, is that it has to be an elf almost all of my toons are, it's just the way I roll
I will be duo'ing this monk with a light built monk.

I would like to keep the path of the clever monkey, but other than that I am pretty malliable

Corrected build type, I had the messy light build in there, was supposed to be asking about my dark build

Does the improved recovery line still need to be taken since I don't have the FoL finishing moves for the healing? OR does that help even if I am not the one doing the healing. Aka my friend who will be playing the light path monk?

Improved recovery affects all incoming heals done to you, even those done by other people.

Greater Dragonmark of shadow is going to be completely useless for you, btw, it gives you shadow walk. As a monk you get that when you get "empty body" anyway.

OK so taking out greater DM of shadow, how about replacing it with Improved Crit - Bludgeoning? My feats are probably off too... I was told to go to at least the displacement DM, which would help me out.

Originally I was a Drow monk who was going to go kama's, but everyone says that kama's die after lvl 8 or so so yeah... needless to say i haven't gotten to lvl 20 with a monk before (and didn't have the 32 point build), so don't know first hand how some of this stuff will effect my play style.
