No, not more death griefing threats in the shroud, what ever will we do lol.

I have been using fraps most raids lately, so go ahead and grief me. I have np PMing youtube links.

I agree that better communication is in order, but something like this is no reason to complain about a sandy crevasse on the forums.

The difference is we dont issue empty threats. If its bad enough to have a threat issued, its likely to happen if the threat is ignored.

So, let me get this straight. Someone died when running some waters, didnt communicate where they were well enough, and now someones got the itchys and scratchies because of it? And this is serious? Serious enough to warn the entire server? Are alot of people dying when running waters and not specifically asking for reses or communicating where they are? Or was it one person who was trying to be a d-bag?

After about 3 or 4 times of asking "seriously, which direction are you from center?" and not getting an answer or some non specific answer, I would leave them there too, but I think its a tad excessive to smather it all over the forums. In most cases, the offender doesnt even read the forums, so you cant even consider them warned. Everyone who does read these threads might get a mild snicker out of it though heh.

I'd send a tell saying "if you want a raise you need to let me know where you are", and leave it at that. If they went AFK or dont want to communicate, np, part 4 and 5 arent that hard 1 toon short.

I think you take this stuff way too serious. I have no clue, i wasnt there. The guy that had it happen to him last night was doing things like pulling all mobs in pt 2 without saying a word, or being told too while people were still clearing trash, afk in pt 3 after he was in the safe area, crafting while we were working on pt 4 etc. And he got left at the front door as a soulstone, with completion, and no pt 5 chest.

I would have prob laughed if I was there, then added the name to my special friends list. 11 man shroud, np.

I do know of a different situation where someone was being an idiot intentionally, got rightfully paid back for it similarly to what you are talking about, (which is technically griefing, even if it is being used to pay someone back for their own foolishness) then pulled a beach move and got the company involved, and the players who left a stone at the bottom of a pool because they asked someone to stop doing specific things got disciplined.

Yeah, sucks when you cant technically do anything about it due to rule violations, other than not play with the person anymore.

One thing I do miss about EQ and WOW: If someone intentionally messes around like this in your raid, the Devs, GMs, MODs, and Jesus all dont care if their name is called out over the forums with a link to a video hosting site showing the player willingly screwing around on a raid or intentionally causing it to fail through game mechanics. They have rules saying youre not supposed to do this but they arent really enforced. You can get infractions here for merely dropping names. Pfft.

I still dont know why healers are playing sober I swear take a shot everytime someone does something stupid especially the "come get me or can I have a buff" mister one voice out of 11 types. I may not remember most of the raids I take part in but they must have completed I always tend to have larges in my inventory the next day

My quote was partially in jest but honestly by now, I am holding hands. I ran with someone the other day that didn't know north didn't always mean UP. Get a clue people. I have been patient with some, but failures in PART 3 are shocking to me.

My point was to those who don't listen. I am leaving you behind. Others may save you but if you don't listen or pay attention, you are on your own. Is this against the spirit of D&D or DDO? I don't know but I'll tell you this, I wish they had a NE or CE alignment at times.
