The good Sarlona Healers are smart enough not to PUG...

It's totally true, I have a reliable source. You better reroll now.

    Default Low on Healing?

Ran 2 shrouds last night, 1st one a guildie and I ran our clerics, pugged out about 6
spots and had an awesome run. 2nd run had to wait about a 1/2 hour for 2 healers,
ended up with 1 guildie on a gimp cleric and 1 lady who was an outstanding healer.

Probably the longest wait we've seen in a while to fill a group.

No way of telling how many peeps have a higher lvl healer but I would hope that
more get rolled up just on gp

Have to say that the groups we've filled out when not enough guildies have been on
have been really good, including the healers. Hopefully it's not just luck and I didn't
    jinx that !$@% haha.

    Talking

I've got a 20 FvS and a 20 Cleric but I didn't play at all last night, so it might be my fault. I apologize. You can't be mad at me today though, it's my birthday.

Seeing the cleric and FvS icons alone in the LFM is enough to scare me away from healing. It's understandable for Shroud, VoD, and ToD - but casual SoS?

Looks like it's time to work on my slayers... it's not like I have any "healers" they'd want anyway.

I like that fact that some people who complain about having to wait for a Healer are the same people who won't play a Healer in a PUG or don't have a Healer at all. I save my cleric for raids with my guild or friends so if I need to swap I can to fill quick....think that's what most of us do.

Pugs dont provide enough fun for me

I mean they drain my booze as much as running with Guildies but I dont get that happy giggly feeling running with them.

I may dust the cobwebs off my healers soon though to remind myself why I play them guild only. Maybe sometime next week just for laughs i'll just have to restock some vodka and rum first.

I still PUG my cleric now and again but tend to be selective since, as others have posted, the expereince can be very resource intensive.

I joined a VOD pug a while back and didn't realize @ sighnup I was the only cleric was responsible for also keeping up WF Sully tank cuz the only arcane in the group was a sorc who didn't have Reconstruct loaded but instead was on scrolls ... I refused to quit and ended up draining something like 10-15 pots (and we still failed) <-- dumbazz

It's just not worth the hassle especially since the days of contributing resources to clerics are seemingly over.

Again though I do still enjoy pugging but, it's really a gamble... like the recent near miss on a Shroud P2 I was in - which for sure ended in disaster on part 4.

I don't think I have pugged with my cleric in weeks. I get too annoyed with idiots, or idiots get too annoyed with me when they don't get healed...

I have Cleric char nad fightrer char, i really dont see reason to join normal VOd/HOX just because they need healers, when i can do guild run on hard and get tomes
I will join if friend/guildie needs help, sure.
But im not good cleric, i refuse to drink 15 pots to make group complete. Never.

lol if drinking 15 mana pots makes you a good cleric put me on the list of "bad clerics" Most good clerics dont want to play nannies so we either solo or guild only. Heck my favored soul can run threw many quests by herself its far easier to keep myself up then heal stupid.

Well, it depends, if i listen to that lv1 barb, i'm a ********, if i listen to that last week shroud raid, i was just fine (for a first timer) for that elite reaver's raid (first time there too) i was an idiot who did not know anything (even after 3 person in the group asked for indication). My guild mates tell me that i'm awesome.

Its easy to call someone an idiot when he's clueless, though there is also the other extreme when someone guess that everyone in the group play the same way and knows all from the same point of view...

    Example right there

    This.
Unless I know someone in that group, I'll usually just solo on my FvS rather than join a group specifically looking for a healer. I don't enjoy playing nannybot.
