It should include a stacking dr 2/adamantine per tier. It would fit in pretty well with the theme.

Chaotic evil means never having to say you're sorry.
I was talking with my guild about why or why not a 1d8+str guard would be overpowered or not. The main concern with it seemed to be shield blocking things to death.
My solution to this was to change the guard ability into a stance which prevents active shield blocking.
Thoughts? Concerns? Opinions?

If you don't like what I have to say, please express yourself through a post, not negative rep.
Thanks.

Hmm looks pretty good except I think it should be immune to healing like pnp after all we are based on dnd(3.5) and not some trashing of it (4E) but immunity is a pretty big minus so could be wrong on that. as to your neg rep dont know about that maybe because you asked for pos rep I know some ding for that and a couple who ding for complaining about getting neg repp'd would pos you but used my allotment for the day.
Beware the Sleepeater
ugh~
i sure hope not, i'm really getting sick and tired of seeing abilities that have semi usefulness in gameplay getting screwed over by the side-effect of blah-blah immunity/lockout
the devs really need to stop throwing the immunity blanket all over the place, otherwise this game WILL go down the ****-hole
PS: Greensteel RUINED the game! and you all know it!
less buffing, more nerfing!!!
to make it easier for those of you that wants to avoid me in game, all my characters are in "Bladesworn Mercenaries"
I did some more thinking on this.
DR 6/Adamantine at tier 3 is very close to the same benefit a Stalwart Defender at tier 3. Warforged Juggernauts seem more like an offense-oriented PrE which are also highly resistant to combat maneuvers and status effects. Extra DR does not really seem to fit the mold, since that makes them resistant to something else entirely (incoming melee damage).

To me with the whole negativity to cure spells, it should have Imp. Fort. as a pereq. Mind you a counter to this is something like gaining back health the more damage you do. A formula could be damage/3 rounded down equals HP. I also like the idea of the stance, and hope it actually looks different then not being in one visually and not short termed. An example would be less like defender of syberies, and more like bladesworn transformation, but in different pose when wielding a weapon.
I have been dying for this PrE to be released, yet I have 3 concerns that remain=
1. This (and other racial PrEs) should NOT count as a class PrE.
With the exception of elf arcane archer (which should allow elf rangers to be deepwood snipers as well), racial PrEs should not count towards class PrEs. It just simply isnt fair that Kensai's get to be juggernaught's and not Frenzy's. It will also be unfair for Drow exploiter rangers to be both tempest's and scorpion wraiths, while drow rogues get the shaft.
2. Honestly worried Turbine will turn this in to a lousy "clicky" ability.
They have labeled the Cleric/FvS/Paladin follower of the Lord of Blades enhancement as "juggernaught" granting many of these effects. They also made the Pale Master PrE a stance instead of passive (it should be passive).
3. Worried about the healing immunity.
Just like the Cleric/FvS/Paladin clicky and Pale Masters, immunity to healing would limit the PrE to WF wizards alone. Or if it was a "clicky" it would limit the use of the entire PrE to situations where you are tanking and being repaired, which is hardly a decent amount of your average gametime.
I would honestly like to see the Adamantine Body feat requirement removed though. I know it is in the Eberron book, but honestly tossing that out would open up the PrE to WF everywhere (as it should). Maybe replace it with WF DR feat to keep it fair.
This was suggested before, shortly after Frenzied Berserker came out in a much less thorough way. The idea was likely noted, but never acknowledged to the playerbase as being so.
I'd like to see a Frenzied Juggernaut, but the current excessive feat demand of the PrE seems to force exclusion of both at once.
The Juggernaut would force wizards and sorcerers to consider memorizing Reconstruct at the very least, and allow certain wizard builds to specialize as Juggernaut Raid Healers, being Wizards with all the Mass Repair spells, and perhaps a Rogue level for the Use Magic Device skill to evoke Resurrection and Raise Dead scrolls.

The Juggernaut symbol in that case would need to override the Favored Soul one, to avoid castrating parties and raids. Perhaps a Symbol for Juggernaut with a subsymbol for the base class would work, as in a Juggernaut Barbarian

Making the group icon square would help healers to understand that Cure spells won't work on this abomination.

The list is over a year old, but it's better than a poke in the eye.

Thanks for digging up that list!
Also noticed that Dwarven Defender counts as Fighter PrE, but not Paladin. (Guess the devs see nothing wrong with a Dwarven Defender + Defender of Syberis?)

Hm, I can see your logic in thinking this but what does it really accomplish stopping shield blocking which is a basic game function?
I don't really care about the random damage aspect, put that to whatever seems balanced, the question is: should power attack feature into the offensive capabilities of this pre in any way?
I agree, added damage reduction is definitely not the way to go about this.
I'm going to throw in the idea of a "pulse" like stance that applies to your current melee target representing you thrashing about with your armor spikes dealing a static number of damage every couple of seconds possibly based on your strength and power attack enhancements... make this inactive while shield blocking or sneaking or treat it like rage in how it inhibits spellcasting and stealth.
In thinking of a way to combine the natural 100% fortification feat into this prestige i'm a little stumped, the inability to be healed by a divine source alienates this feat, as such it needs major changes before it can be used as a prerequisite in any way despite how fitting it might be.

I've been trying to find out information on this before asking, but to no avail. Is it not possible for a Warforged with Improved Fortification be healed by the Heal spell instead of the cure wounds spells. I realize that this will be more spell points used then a cure serious, but the Heal spell already bypasses the 50% reduction.
