    Default Running DDO Using Parallels on Max OS X

    I successfully installed the game, created a character and entered the world. The game seems to run well with one exception. The player character faces are entirely black. No eyes, lips or other facial features. The hair and body appears fine. Just the faces are affected.

    Has anyone else experienced this type of behavior, and is there a solution? I'm running the game on the latest version of Parallels 5.x, and my Mac Pro has 8-cores, 6GB RAM. I dedicated 2 cores and 2GB RAM to the virtual machine.

    Like I said, the game runs smoothly, and aside from the missing faces, I have see no other issues as of yet.

    I would greatly appreciate any assistance that can be offered.

    I was running the game in Parallels 4, and everything was fine. Just upgraded to Parallels 5, and faces are gone!

    Hmmm ... that's good to know. Thanks for the info. Aside from the black faces, it seems like some geometry doesn't render as well. The collision is still there, but you cannot see the geometry. Entire rock pieces that make up the starting area don't render, and I'm guessing this problem would exists elsewhere as well.
