Now, instead of 3 large horns and choice of 2 large arrows/shrapnel/bones, I'm only offering either the 3 large horns OR your choice of 2 arrows/shrapnel/bones.

You see, the reason is that just like stock options, these kits have an expiration date. As the expiration date of options approaches they tank really hard due to time-value decay (also known as theta). So, the bearer of the options have two choices either sell them at a much reduced price (i.e. taking a loss) or use those kits for themselves (exercising options). Let see if the market forces work in DDO as well as they do IRL.
