Elite Shroud

I'm gonna host an elite shroud run next Saturday, April 3rd, 2010 at 7:30 PM EST. My name is Koruna and I'm gonna reserve spots now.

A. Must have a tier 3 Min II or Silver+good,Transmuting+Good, Flametouched Iron + Silver, Flametouched Iron+Transmuting, be a paladin that uses the Holy Sword spell
B. Must have 100% fort.
C. Must listen to instructions
D. Be able to link items if I ask you.

1 Caster spot
ME, Koruna the lvl 20 wizard!

3 Healer spots

1 Bard spot

7 Melees spots

Gonna make a suggestion having run a lot of Elite Shrouds myself.. Also require EVERY melee to have a DR bypassing RANGED Weapon..You'll thank me for this later

I ran the hard shroud you did today and you did fine. I ran an elite shroud a little later with my guild, and I know you will be able to complete an elite. Mithran is not using Hi Welcome inappropriately. The owner of "Hi Welcome" should be along to correct this.

Whats with this?!?! So lately i have been on until the VERY early mornings.... 530 seems to be the WORST time EVER!! Dont swap toons or log off and think your getting back on because ohhh buddy are you WRONG!!!

Is a good idea but rather hard role to fill unless you happen to have mostly all rangers of sorts...

Our heroes ran an Elite run tonight - as stainer pointed out - was something I promised myself for a few of our newbie's and TR's favor. Even though posted in MOTD near a week had a low number of them turn out... so pulled in five pugs to fill the ranks... I told Shamgar (as I had him fill) to be picky.

Had great portal DPS and was not quite sure what the DPS output for Harry was going to be like - I knew we had four heavy hitters... not quite sure how armed the others were though. Among the healing support we also had a new hero who never run the quest and Requeim went afk due to family early so come parts 2 thru 4 were short by him.

Part two was a textbook example ... went smooth as silk.

Part three - nothing notable, puzzles solved quickly...

Part four - the test ... was a little over two and a half rounds due to a few deaths problem was lost the new cleric to a fireball plus blades comming into the second round... left me and a bard to manage but I lost three of the melee as the blades moved in - was blind healing due to lag issue, but did not seem like DPS lag just a 3-4 sec cast delay I think those I lost seemed to be on the lower HP scale - as their bars did fluctuate quickly in the first round. I was mainly using mass cures with the bard spotting those in trouble the most with heals... one thing annoyed the bloody pi$$ out of me was in the second round Harry seemed to have his eye trained on me sent blast after blast like five times in a row (much more than usual) so I had to run circle while healing that round... fried me bumn a couple times too...

Part five - Harry hid behind the altar at first, did not like that as I usually run the pool and heal at same time... forced me out, the melee did well and managed to pin him down into a corner.

Not saying everyone should range.. I said everyone should have DR bypassing ranged weapons. People will die... And need ranged weapons to do some dps while waiting for death penalties.

Elite's worth running because unlike Normal, it's not a total snoozefest. It's actually fun.

The +2 loot is pretty irrelevant, as the Shards and Ingredients have the same drop rate as Normal. Wish they'd up the Shards on Hard/Elite.

Being as specific as you are in your LFM indicates to me that you only know of one way to do things. In my opinion, it's better to be open-ended. In general terms, assuming people do listen for purposes of coordination, there are tons of ways to do things, and you're missing out on an opportunity to learn a lot about the game.
