Are you positive about this? I might be mistaken (and, as a matter of fact, my statement was introduced by "I think"), but I recall some runs where this happened (1 of the 2 fountains in the north 5X5 puzzle room was activated?) and we still got the underwater chests. Memory could be really playing tricks on me ....

However, I wasn't suggesting to activate fountains before solving puzzles.... when this happens, it's often because of poor communication and coordination .....

While true, this actually does not necessarily need communication, dont water the fountain if the puzzle isn't yet solved!

    easy as that

if one doesn't want to learn solving with algorithm, they could always use a puzzle solver. There is no excuse for not able to solve one's own puzzle.

After having run the raid ~90 times, I would rather have everyone running water especially when asked to. Plus when you run water, you learn to know the placements of each puzzle in the maze, thereby knowing which direction to head out of the center room in order to get the water to which puzzle fastest...

Then again I constantly use the word "learn" on here and its looked over as evil, so we'll pray hard, real hard that some sort of cognitive gain happens by the act of running water...

Turbine, you can hire more developers for the game. We operate on a giant Theocracy of Debt, so go all out finding developers for the best MMO out there

One is enough to lose the underwater chests. As is breaking the crystals above a door on any of the puzzle rooms - although that is sometimes necessary if all of the lockpickers/knockers are dead in a locked room.

Everyone should be running water except usually heal guys who can quickly heal runners coming in after they've been beaten up by the blades.

And if you know you can only solve your puzzle if you get lucky, Say So. While having someone say, "Help! I'm lazy and never took a few minutes to look up how to solve these puzzles!" might be slightly annoying to some people, having you walking all over the last puzzle when you don't know what you are doing is highly annoying to everyone.
