Character Transfers?

Probably a topic that has been flogged and more than once but.....

What is the status of character- or whole account- transfers from one server to another?

I have several characters on Orien and that server, for my level range (low teens) is pretty much dead. Plenty of groups for lower levels and a handful for highers but nothing for the 8-14 range (yes, I could start my own group but let's set that suggestion aside for the purpose of this thread, please).

I would be willing to pay to have one, several or even all of these characters and their equipment, money, bank items, favor, etc. transferred to Kyber, which is my new home. It's a wee bit frustrating having to start completely over yet again and for reasons that are largely out of my control. I'll do it (again) because I enjoy the game but I'd definitely think that a pay-for-transfer premium feature would make Turbine some money.

I can tell you this.

They charge you, and then sometime in the future, for me was three weeks, iyour character will just show up on the new server. It will transfer all your stuff and your banked items. However, you will lose access to anything you had in the shared bank slot on your previous server. As far as playing the character you are transferring, I can't say as I stopped once I applied for a transfer just to be safe.

I never had any communication from Turbine, and when I e-mailed assistance or tried in-game, they had no answers and could provide no updates.

So while it works, you just have to wait until it does. As fast as one can level now, I doubt I would do it again, the only real issue being the grind for gear. But a good guild could help with that I am sure.

If you have extra inventory and/or bank pages directly or indirectly resulting from favor rewards, to you maintain those extra pages (and items on those pages) when you x-fer over/

I appreciate the advice.

I think the best solution for me will end up being find a decent Guild and start over. At least I have Vet status so it's not quite starting over from scratch.
