You don't HAVE to reroll.

You've got TR, GR, GR +1, GR +3, LR, LR +1, LR +3. We didn't have these easy button options for many years. You should take advantage of the opportunity to have the perfect build of the day. Not only can you be even more effective in 90% of the quests you run, you might even complete an EPIC quest or two.

I like my characters fine, I've even GR'd one so she'd be more useful in the missions I find fun. Why would I bother optimizing something for something that isn't fun for me?

I think you are exaggerating the difficulty of EPIC. If you don't like being challanged, and would rather sleep through another shroud (Intim needed on Normal filled with 20th level toons when we were crushing it with 13-16s), that's ok.

Of course I'm exaggerating, this is the internet where the women are men, the children are the FBI, and everyone exaggerates on message boards. I've played some epic and even enjoyed a DQ with my arcane archer, it's just only slightly more fun than level 2 harbor pugs.

For the people who like to be challanged, EPIC is a refreshing part of end game.

Or go permadeath, don't twink yourself, and actually play a game remotely resembling D&D.

I've got no problem if people like epic, I just would prefer Turbine focused on making NEW stuff than epicing old stuff and calling it new. I want more Amrath, expand it with more stuff to do. Have the Demons invade Eberonn this time, give us more dragons, etc . . .

Correct me if I'm wrong (n00b here), maybe because 90% or the characters who can be effective in the rest of the game are useless in epic?

Where was I whining at all? I was stating a preference as to what I think turbine should focus on regarding new content? I don't think I ever said it was too hard, I said it was ********. My personal preferences are stuff closer to actual D&D, the more "MMO" something gets the dumber it is.
