Default Weapons for pure WF sorc

What do you use on a not-so-bad str WF sorc when doing slayers or trying to save mana on normal difficulty quests?

Do you bother with master's touch at all? Do you bother at all with proficiency, or lack of I should say?

    TWF or THF?

Many go for heavy picks and burst dmg, but what else is nice to have?

Depending on level will depend on what I have as a melee weapon (usually as a backup plan):

    Level 1
    • +1 Quarterstaff

    Level 2
    • +1 Quarterstaff with a +1d6 damage modifier

    Level 4
    • +1 Holy Quarterstaff

    Level 8
    • +5 Quarterstaff
    • Witching Hour (primarily for Clay Golems)
    • +2 Wounding Dagger

    Level 14
    • +5 Wounding Dagger
    • +1 Holy Quarterstaff of Improved Destruction
    • Any usable Quarterstaff of Disruption
    • Dreamsplitter

    Level 16
    • A set of Heavy Picks that does high damage on crit (modifiers of Seeker, Backstabbing, Holy Burst, Anarchic Burst, Maiming, Shocking Burst)

    Level 18
    • Death's Touch
    Server - Thelanis

Depending on your strength and what you are fighting, a Rahls Might and Dreamsplitter are excellent choices aswell.

For held or stoned mobs, a seeker +8 adamantine heavy pick of maiming + another bursting pick of maiming
    works pretty well.

Puncturing will outperform maiming by a long way on non-epic content.

(Remember, Con damage reduces the foe's current and max HP).
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

yes, but we know that HP are not directly linked to Con. so if you reduce a 500 hp mobs 16 con to 0 it might still have 340 hp left.

and maiming does 10.5 additional damage on a heavy pick with each hit...
