Default Gear for releveling a TR ranger

I know this has most likely been posted before but after searching forums for 2 days i had no luck finding it.

I am currently a lev 20 rogue that will be TRing as an 'Exploiter Ranger'. I am looking for a guide to what gear i should acquire while i am still level 20 to make the releveling grind as bearable as possible. Also What non gear items i should make sure i have ready (like the litany sigil). Thanks a bunch, in advance.

A buffer is the small margin between success and failure.
Not all of us are DPS, tanks, or healers. Most parties just need a good buffer.

My recommendations for gear to have prior to TR'ing:

Weapons will depend on whether you are a strength build or a dex-based finesse build. Since you didn't state which you will be I'll assume strength based.

2x Mineral Kopesh (at least one thats MinII with 4ac Insight)
1 Pos + Pos (holy + good burst) Maul for undead skeletons + res clicky

Icy Raiments w/ alchemical dodge ritual completed

1 tier 3 GS 45hp accessory (MinII or SmokeII would be my suggestion)

    Chattering Ring
    Head of Good Fortune
    Tharnes Goggles
    Minos Legens
    Spectral Gloves
    Silver Bow
    Jorgundels Collar (human)
    Docent of Quickening(WF)
    Scourge Choker (WF)

    GH clickies
hundreds of silver flame favor heal pots

2x +1 acid kopesh of pure good w/ icy burst upgrades (ML:6, might be able to get ML:4 RR:human ones? not sure if they go quite that low, but 2 of these are your ideal low level damage everything weapons)

    Situationally useful items:
    Paralyzer kopesh & bow
    Vorpal kopesh
    5% weighted handwraps
vicious/anarchaic handwraps of greater construct bane
    6con GFL amrath belt

Personally after a few True Reincarnations I find the following list of non-raid items among the helpful and vital, many such items which you may already have:

    • Goggles of Insight
    • Anger's Step
    • Anger's Gift
    • Ring of Feathers
    • Low level clickables of Invisibility
    • Spear Bane
    • Furors Hide
    • A level 1 item with Detect Secret Doors
    • Either a +1 Holy Quarterstaff/Maul or +1 Acid Quarterstaff/Maul of Pure Good
    • A level 1 item with 3 clicks of Shield
    • 2 or 3 sets of Visors of the Flesh Render
    • Mantle of the Worldshaper
    • Voice of the Master
    • An item that allows you to summon a critter, like the Scorpion Staff
    • A Portable Hole
    • A pair of Muckbanes (or some low level handwraps if you have a level of monk)
    • Tomes
    • Something that is capable of bypassing the DR of Clay Golems, like a Phase Hammer or Adoryn's Malice
    • Golden Greaves
    • Kaelth's Touch
    • 2 Planar Girds
    • Silver Flame Talisman or Emerald Claw Talisman (you can make the other one during your reincarnation
    • Minos Legens
    • Stave of the Seer
    • Silver Bow
    • Belt of Tongue (for areas with high amounts of enchantment spells)
    • Spectral Gloves
    • A two-handed weapon or ranged weapon with Improved Destruction
    • Bloodstone
    • One of the 3 +6 Constitution of Greater False Life belts in Amrath
    • Scarab of Protection
    • A pair of bodyfeeders that are rapiers or scimitar (if you plan to get Improved Critical: Piercing or Slashing)
    • A disruption weapon you are proficient with

The only thing you need for Tring is a desire to play and have fun. GHaving the best of the best gear take sthe fun out, unless you like the easy button.

    that is all.

I would suggest a Silver Longbow and a Greater Construct Bane bow. Both are mainly for raid situations.

Also a tier II Silver Flame Amulet is nice.

And being able to use your high level stuff at it’s minimum level is half the fun of a True Reincarnation.
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

as a recently TRed 11 ranger, for low level, I would add to the list as not needed, but quite handy for giving you a little more power / diversity early on, espeicially soloing:

    1. Garzad's helm (1 DR) - goes nicely with outfit of invulnerability (DR 5/except magic?) and golden greaves (ML 9 - DR 3 boots)
    2. shield clicky items
    3. open secret door item
    4. those sharn syndicate nicked shortswords or whatever you are using, +2 bound-to-account items
    5. +3 bound-to-account level 5 items from TR end reward
    6. reaver ring for desert, etc. if your will saves are low (my STr-based ranger has a lower WIS than my TR pure ranger)
    7. low-level pure good/ghost touch items -
    8. haste clicky items
    9. amulet of the ??? (gives you 2 clicks of spell point refill - end reward from Misery's Peak) - quite handy if your spell points are low around level 4 and you want to cast an extra ram's might, jump or energy resist...
Ghallanda - Spock's elvish cousin, not to mention his other Pointy* (Eared and otherwise) alts
