    Default Adventure Packs?

Hey everyone. I'm relatively new to DDO (but not MMO's). I'm purely F2P and don't ever plan an dumping any money into this game. As I begin to build up TP from Favor grinding, what would be the best adventure packs to purchase.

I will probably only be able to purchase 2 (maybe 3) packs based on the amount of TP I can grind (or would be willing to grind...). If possible, please suggest perhaps a low and mid level pack. Thanks!

    First read this.

Delera's for low level. What level range do you mean by "mid?"

Hmm... a bit hard to recommend blindly. Which quests have you really enjoyed so far?

You'd honestly get further for only getting mid level or HIGHER packs. Since there is enough free content to get you to at least level 10 without any issues.

I'd you *absolutely* need a low level pack...
Delera's for the Voice and the fact it has at least a couple quests of 11th level. Also has generally high XP.
Vault of Night because it has a raid, and if you ever do epic questing it will be there for you.
Tangleroot for house P favor buffs and some decent low level items from its reward list. Not to mention the Visor which can give any character a clicky Deathward.

Others might be more *fun* than those, but wouldn't help your character much as you level past them. (Arguably you *will* out level Tangleroot faster than the other two but the fact it has the explorable, the turn ins for pots, and can get you enough favor that with some effort you can get the Pendant of Time it might be worth it.)

Mid level... Gianthold or Menectarun (Demon Sands)
Sands is great if you are a caster, otherwise you probably want Gianthold because the sands eat up and chew out melee that don't play smart and don't have the correct gear more than Gianthold will. Gianthold is higher level than the sands, both have raids with "must have" items.

    High level...
Vale, no ands ifs or buts about it you MUST have The Vale of Twilight.

To add to what LunaCee said, yes, as a F2P player you'll find that your mid level content (9-14) starts to get sparse to non-existent. So if you're planning on staying F2P, I would avoid buying the lower level packs and shoot for the mid level ones he recommended.

I'm not really sure why, but that link dosent go anywhere. Try this one:

Its sirgog's review of all packs, and he gives some comments about if its worth it when you are on a budget. There is also Robi's F2P guide:

As he says, its everything you need to know to get the most for free. Its easier to get to his list of packs and why you should have them if you click on the links he provides.

The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.

Gah. I was trying to link to Robi's thread. Thanks for pointing that out!
