You never saw people buying guest passes in the trade channel? What do you think they buy them with? This is is a very very very common practice in micro transactions MMOs and a completely different thing from what a plat farmer does because:
- I'm paying plat for something someone spends real money on. I get the TP, the buyer gets the plat, Turbine gets the cash.
- Someone buying from a plat farmer pays real money for plat. The farmer gets the cash, the buyer gets the plat, Turbine gets squat.

This sucks. My debit card is being rejected, a problem that can't be fixed by email, only by phone and since I don't intend to make international calls I can't fix it. Which leaves farming TP as the only alternative of getting TP. And I hate doing it, I can only do the Korthos and harbor quests so many times before getting sick of them. So I get to lose time while Turbine gets to lose money.

Ok I'll send in a ticket to Account Support. What's more annoying is that today, after spending 15 minutes on the phone with my bank's call center trying to figure out what's wrong on my side, I found out that I was charged twice by Turbine for my last two attempts of trying to link my debit card to my game account. And of course both attempts failed.
