    Default Past Life Barbarian

    * Past Life: Berserker's Fury
o You recall more about your past life as a barbarian.
o You gain +1 hit point per character level, have +2 to your Intimidate skill and can enter a barbarian rage once per rest. (Activate this barbarian ability to enter a bloodthirsty frenzy, granting you a +4 bonus to Strength and Constitution, a +2 Morale bonus to Will saves, and a -2 penalty to AC. When the rage ends, however, you will lose the hit points granted to you by increased Constitution and become fatigued. Your rage will last for 30 seconds.)

Anyone knows if this rage stacks with regular Rage ? or is it just a PL feat for ppl that are not TRing into Barbs again ?

    Haven't tr'd anyone yet.

but word on the street is yes. Stacks, but must be used before your regular rage.

And it never increase beyond 30 seconds, so rather poor =/

Actually 4 STR 4 CON for 30 secs its a pretty decent Boost imo. Nice, gona make 1 Barb TR then.

    1 Fighter TR - 1 Barb TR - Barb again -> 36 point buy +1 Atack +1 DC trip + Extra Rage +10 HP

I can verify it stacks if: You use your standard Barb Rage then this, it stacks.

If you use the past life rage, then you can no longer barb rage. I find the rage 10% decent. 30s is too short to matter, and it's mostly for fun-STR buffing and hitting your STR as high as possible. The feat is a funny one, because it's very nice with 20hp, +2 Intimidate if you build with Intimidate, but the Rage is a plus, but if you look at it again, taking the past life would involve giving up the capstone or a critical feat, so it is sad that the pure barb can never use this feat. Not sure how the Devs were thinking when they did this. Barb passive should be 20hp instead of 10hp.

Anyway, My TRx2 Metalworker is now a 18barb again, with fighter and barb past lifes, I am thinking of not going pure, but I know there really isn't much incentive, other than to get 2 fighter class feats to squeeze in toughness + enhancements + Stunning Blow + another feat, but I think this is not needed.

Nice, i was thinking the same thing. Capstone vs 2 Fighter for feats

For a 36 point buy, go FULL CON or some WIS/DEX ? For a Human Barb

    STR 18
    DEX 12
    CON 16
    INT 8
    WIS 12
    CHA 8

    or

    STR 18
    DEX 10
    CON 18
    INT 8
    WIS 10
    CHA 8

I went for the min-max build since if I get Greater commanded, too bad for me, barb rage is nice enough to give a slight boost to poor will saves.

    My starting stats were:

    STR 18
    DEX 11
    CON 20
    INT 9
    WIS 9
    CHA 6

If I rmbed correctly. I had +3 CON/CHA/INT tomes banked and eventually will get +3 tomes, hence the odd number for the other non-important stats.

I'm leaning to a non-capstone pure barb, but that's just my personal taste. If it really does not work out nicely, I'll just LR+2 to fix it up, but my opinions at least for the TRx2 build, you can really unlock a ton of HP with both extra feats.

18/2 benefits as far as I believe:
    1) Toughness + Enhancements (22+10+20to30 = ~60) and Stunning blow
    2) 15% stacking haste boost that has been very fun in my previous 12/8 build
    3) Stunning Blow DC +1
    4) 1 more feat: Mithril armor with DT for aesthetic reasons :P, or Barb past life for a boost in HP + crappy rage, or whatever you want here, another toughness, kind of a waste.

This is obviously contrasted with the pure capstone of a total of
    1) 4STR (net loss of 3STR = +1 DC, +1 to hit, +1 damage)
    2) +2CON from mighty rages
    2) Glancing blows: this is perhaps the biggest loss.

If anyone can provide numbers for how much increase the damage of the capstone glancing blows proc, I would greatly appreciate the advice for my eventual build. The 18/2 build has much more hp, but much less DPS, not sure how the 15% haste boosts would add that up, but I doubt that unpure has any chance of more DPS.
