Default Anyone else run Ravenloft adventures?

I plan on re-running the Ravenloft Grand Conjunction series again soon. One of my favorite module series. These work well when supplemented in your normal campaign. Mine being Greyhawk of course.

I think the best Ravenloft adventure after the grand conjunction would be Castles Forlorn. That was alot of fun to run.

My gaming experience began long ago with a red box, six dice, a marker crayon and my imagination.

I'm running Expedition to Castle Ravenloft right now and my group says it's the best campaign I've ever run. I'm using the Ravenloft Campaign Setting rules from WW so it's a little grittier and more like the original Ravenloft setting. I have some of the old Ravenloft modules but converting is kind of a pain. I have so much 3.5 stuff to run though I never quite get to the point where I feel I have to convert old adventures.

Are you going to do it in 2nd ed, or upconvert it? If you happen to do a good 3.5 conversion, I'd love to get my hands on it...I loved those modules, but never got the chance to run straight through them, since my players often could not get into the Ravenloft setting the way I do.

meh...wishful thinking...that and wanting to find a 3.5 conversion of the original ToEE...

As long as I have been playing I have to admit that I have never done the Temple of Elemental Evil. My group actually started doing that quest then two nights into it I had to leave for military reasons. They were nice enough to put it on hold and I cant wait to get back.

There is a 3.5 conversion for TOEE in the EN World conversion library. Just search for "temple of elemental evil" on the page or scroll down until you see it. If this is the one I think it is, it was done right after 3.5 came out and might contain a few errors, but it's enough to get your started with little adjustment needed.

I would if I could. Ravenloft was my favorite campaign. I tried to Dm for it a few times over my Navy career. But haven't found a group of players in a long time.

Plus the new editions keep turning me off. I don't have money to invest in another edition. And converting old modules is difficult.

btw, my guild name is from Ravenloft.
I gave up a life of farming to become an Adventurer.

Thank ye kindly...looks like there are quite a few old modules updated there. I'll look through them when I get a chance, but thank ye again...I did not know these existed!
