Default Items with Fortification (Preferably Heavy)

I was wondering if anyone knows of any items that carry Heavy Fortification (although moderate will work too). I know there is a ring called Ancient Band (anyone know if that's a random item, or do you get that from any particular place?), but was wondering if any other items (preferably rings) carry heavy fortification.

Random dropping belts and rings carry it.

Several named items do as well; check here for more details.

Pulled a ring of heavy fortification out of gianthold yesterday. Belts, robes and outfits of heavy fort drop quite frequently.

Yeah, one of the rare's chest dropped it. But like hydra said, any level appropriate quest will drop it. I'm guessing it would be level 12+ quests/areas. 8-10 drop moderate fort items anyways.

So items with a minimum level (for the Ancient Band, min lvl is 11) would drop on quests of that level?

The Ancient Band only drops in the Madstone Crater quest.

hydra_ex provided a link to the static loot thread that shows where named items drop.

Necklace in Relic of Sovereign Past. No luck required: just go in once and ask for it by name.

Generally speaking, quests drop items roughly 2 levels below their quest level on normal. So if you are looking for ml11 stuff, you will start seeing it regularly in ml 13+ quests (which is why Gianthold got mentioned here).a

Its usually not /that/ hard to get it on the AH if you don't mind suboptimal locations like shields or armor. It'll be extremely expensive on belts, rings, and other "good" locations.

The Nightforge Necklace is the fastest way to get it. The quest is lvl 12 and the iron ore is useful for other stuff, so you may have a hard time getting a group to let you have all of it on one run. But that is your best bet for getting it guaranteed.
