Props to the Monks of Sarlona

lol - must not have been me you ran with cuz i have yet to spend the time to figure mine out!

fortunately for you all, I don't play him atm, so hopefully not creating bad rep for all you good monks in Sarlona

promise to really dig into the class deeper before i start running him again.

I use to hate having Monks in groups.....but over the last few months having one in the group over all is well worth it. Keensly of the top of my head is top notch as well as Panzys monk. I'm glad they gave monks some love...hopefully they'll give some more soon. I know people on other servers still are having monk issues.....but on Sarlona they are pretty **** good.

What are you talking about, monks are gimped, I mean take a look at Sakalyn. Light Side monk with full sentinel marks seriously? What a waste of a +4 con tome.
(My character, I can make fun of her) That's weird, my rings are wrong, she doesn't wear morah's anymore she wears the mechanic ring.

That's my Job, I can make any class look bad, I have a Sorcerer in full plate, a ranger that uses a bow (who is also dragonmarked - 2/3rds sentinel marks), a pale master wizard/rogue (who even I have lost all desire to play, used to be full healing marks), a battle cleric who TR'd into a battle soul, a offensive-spell casting AC cleric, and that's all I can think of at the moment.

never heard of Silverhair, looked up his stats... they dont compare in my opinion to Distime's... sorry.. and as I said, That I have seen....and they are the ones that I've seen outshine all others, out of the monks I have played with... plain and simple...

this wasn't suppose to be a litmus test of who is the best of the best.....just a general prop to alot of the monks on the server. What is good to one person isn't always the same. Sarlona players in general are a pretty sheltered group we do Guild/Alliance/Channel Runs....there are quite a few "GOOD" players I've never run with...and some I could careless if I even do. So put the rulers away......or I guess my thread just got jacked and turned into something stupid.

nope, sorry wasn't trying to derail the thread.. I will not post here again .... I was just giving props to the monks that I have seen do well above others... as you did with the OP..

don't get me wrong Cash.....i aint claiming sovereign territory on this thread. Just tryin to make a point of we don't all know each other....written word can be seen as attack when it wasn't meant to be.

Ya back on topic..... he fact is Monks have had a bad rap for a long time, it is nice to see people being a little more excepting of them in a group. Getting mine leveled as much as I had to do there was a lot of time spent sitting waiting to be excepted into parties as you watch group filling on the lfm only to get the "you have automatically been declined because the party is full"-lol

yep.....i did a Epic Wiz King with your monk the other day. It use to be a monk would want to join and everyone would groan. But monks(which I don't have one) are becoming a very powerful asset to have in any group IMO.

Thx for the props, when I first started the game I would get shut out of alot of ground because people hated monks. Now that does not happen anymore with me....and alot of other monks i know, good to know im helping spread the monk love around.

I though silver was a harper though, they are all so casual, hard to say any of them are in keens's "class" christ keens is so intense his forum posts are in code....

Please, don't get me wrong. I'm more than willing to farm for anything, but I don't have all that time for playing and every run though the Shadow Crypt flagging usually takes me two or three days. I hope you can understand how frustrating it can be.

That's way I was looking for something that doesn't involve long chains or high level raids I don't have access to (basically, it's not my style to pike or being carried through, so let the others do the dirty job is a no-no).

A collectibles turn-in reward as the Minos Legens (4 hour of solo farming for 20 tapestries), should make my day.
