    Default DX 10 option greyed out ?

    Altough i have a video card that have possibilitys to play in dx 10 and dx 11, the option Dx 10 is greyed out . Can i force somewhere that the game use dx 10 ?
    (My card is a Ati radeon HD 5800 ; Os = win 7 , 64 bit )

    There are a couple of settings in the UserPrefences.ini file, in your my documents > ddo folder.

    GraphicsCore=D3D10
    HavePromptedForD3D10AtStartup=True

    I'm not sure if that will make it work or not, since the option is greyed out.

    I didn't see anything about it in the "known issues," you should bug report this.

    I think maybe your video card is a little too new.

    I am having the same issue with my gtx 260. I use to have it enabled. I turned it off a while ago. Now it is grayed out. I made the changes to my preferences file but no go. Updated DX and nvidia drivers too. Oh well.

    Make sure you are not starting the launcher in xp compatibility mode.
