Nevermind, I found it. It's in items...which is not at all where I expected to find it.
For anyone else looking for it, since you fond the section before I could add it...
"New Items
We are also working on some cool new types of game items which will offer new features and functionality to our players. One that’s coming soon is an alignment change item which will let players re-spec their alignment on their characters."
it will be interesting to see it implemented that's for sure.

It should be a good money maker for them. Some people will just to simple alignment changes, but others who are swapping alignments due to class changes may have to do multiple tran$action$. For example, going from barb splash to monk splash...LR+1 to get rid of barbarian level, Alignment change to LG, LR+1 to add monk splash.
Hail!
After a long hiatus I've just recently returned to Stormreach and I've been trying to balance my limited play time between reading the forums to catch up on all the updates I've missed (GH was new and 14 was cap) and actually spending some time in game.
My guildies are gone or are probably on their third TR on a new char that I've yet to encounter.
The news about forthcoming alignment changes is promising but I'd like some information regarding new char creation w/o the need for alignment changes until TR.
What's the current thought process for Good Vs Neutral where applicable?
Is is better to be good for the PG weapons and suffer the addt'l dmg from archers or neutral for stability and if able to UMD wait for the time when you can equip PG weapons?
What about endgame and gear? Are their certain classes that MUST be good/neutral in order to equip final stat items/ability items?
Thanks in advance for any wisdom that you're willing to share!
PS: If your alignment is a personal preference or RP that's fine, but I'm looking for specific game related information that may help new/returning players until the alignment re-spec is introduced.

I think that most people wanting to use good weapons just get enough UMD for it, since the UMD requirement for those is low.
There are some stability items available, but not so many that there seems to be heavy wave of people wanting to be neutral. Largely this is because for most classes, AC can not be made high enough to matter.
One of the new additions to the game since you've left is the monk class, which like some others, has an alignment requirement. People often want to change alignment so they can splash a restrictive class that they failed to consider at character creation, and since monk is relatively new, there are still characters that were created before the class existed.
I can't recall anyone indicating they wanted to change alignment due to RP reasons. I'm sure a few such people exist, but I suspect more people want PvP than an alignment change for RP purposes.
