Question No Validate / Repair when right click in Turbine Download Manager

    Hello,

I recently downloaded game then had issues with logging into a world. I ended up having to reinstall the Turbine download manager which solved that issue.

Now I get all the way to creating and choosing a character and pressing 'enter' to enter the world...

Screen says: Welcome to Ebberon, gives random tip fact at bottom, and then says 'Loading...' at the very bottom.

Basically it freezes up here for 30-60 seconds. Then screen minimizes-goes to desktop and I get error message saying dndclient error... etc. Send error report/don't send. And game just closes.

From what I've read on the forums I simply need to go into my Turbine Download Manager, go to the bottom where the 'play' button is and right-click and click validate / repair and all my problems should be solved.... maybe.
However, I have no such selection as validate / repair.
My options when I right-click or click the little 'V tab' are:
    Details
    Options
    Uninstall

I have downloaded the full game reg graphics, and then as I said already, reinstalled the TDM. I've also checked connections, firewalls, and re-started comp/TDM with no luck.
Again, I simply think I just have to validate/repair to get past the loading screen (after choosing character and clicking enter), but I can't find the validate/repair. Anybody have any other suggestions for getting me past the loading screen and this DDclient Error Message?

Any help is very much appreciated! I'd really like to try this game!

Try going into TDM's options (button in the upper left > Options) and uncheck the "Hide download manager status when up to date")

Click ok and you should now have along with DDO a "ribbon" at the bottom for TDM, see if that one has "Validate & Repair" and if so choose it, that will have TDM check its own files and then see if once that completes if DDO now has the option.

    Default Thank you

    Mirthgar,

Thank you, that worked in regards to allowing me to validate/repair. I now see the option.
However, after using the validate and repair option I am still unable to load into the game. And still get the same ddclient error report message when on the loading screen.
I have submitted a ticket to technical support to help resolve the problem.

But.... If you have any ideas feel free to let me know, as I may not hear from them for a few days.

    Thanks

Turn around on Tech tickets is fairly fast right now (does vary by volume though!).

If you get a chance post your dxdiag (steps how are in the "how to get help.." sticky linked in my signature)

They can get more indepth with the support tickets though so be sure to follow up with that as well, they may catch anything Ive missed.
