I have Lorikks necklace and shield and in the top right corner of my screen there is a little icon that say's Lorikks Champion. My question is do these 2 pieces amp. healing spells or damage to undead heal spells?
Does this Q make sense I hope so!

When you read the description under lorikks champion it says you get a 20% amp to healing damage. I read this as meaning damage to undead only but your saying it goes both way's, i.e, positive healing and negative to undead.
How come it's not worth having the extra % every bit helps?
Healing damage is a little bit of a misleading term.
Healing, like fire or electricity, is considered to be a damage type in DDO. But, whereas fire damage will harm an opponent, healing damage heals a friend.
So anything which increases "Healing Damage" will increase the amount of damage you heal with your spells, and the amount it deals to undead.

because its 20% for using 2 items and 50% for using 3 items (all devotion 8)
or
you can use a supierior potency 6 item (yes, its only 50% for max lvl6 spells, but that loss is totally worth it freeing up 2 inventory slots) or use one (or both) of the amrath cleric belts for a total of 18min sup ardor 8 for an increase of 75% to your 8 and lower healing spells without using a slot and just abit swapping in, activating clicky, swapping out action
thats why

A lot of people aren't bothering with the full Lorrik's set and just going for the TOD ring craft. You won't get quite as much of a boost to your healing, but it frees up a lot of good slots on your character.
Of course, I could be completely wrong here.
