Was getting ready to roll another barb anyway was thinking human for the healing amp and feat but half orcs blows that thought out of the water guess I will hang on and see. Give them faverd weapon depending on what diety they follow eather war hammer or maul becuse they like to smash things. 5% weighted + stuning blow + 56 strength + FB111 = sounds like fun

Why play a Half-Orc?
Playing a Half-Orc gives a player that opportunity to play the monster, the outcast, or the mysterious stranger!
The Half-Orc's appearence is long overdue in ddo!

"Hit points=DPS! You aren't doing ANY DPS when ur dead!"
and like that,.......he was gone.
Did a lot of people play half-orcs with pnp? I always found half-orcs to be kind of... boring.
Have a nice day!

As for the half-orc, IF I were playing I'd be planning a Crit Slash Kensai, possibly with a monk splash and wisdom up since Charisma is going to be a dump-stat. Combat Expertise, Improved Critical Slash, Dodge, Toughness, Improved Trip, Improved Sunder, Sap/Stunning Blow would all be pegged for use with racial weapon (thought it was khopesh, but falchion is cool too).
Probably plan for the CE w/balance and jump too. Sooo.... 28 pt build

From my perspective, Aasimars and Tieflings might be cool minmaxing races, but Half Elves and Half Orcs are far more central to the Eberron setting.
The only question I have is: If we're getting Half-Orcs next, what the HECK are they going to do for the Dragonmark of Finding?
House Tharashk, Half-Orcish bearers of said Dragonmark, are definitely part of the DDO lore; ignoring them hardly seems a good option. But there are very few appropriately themed spells that are already part of the game.
I would think Half Elves would be much easier, since the graphics would be simpler. Additionally, the Mark of Storms and the Mark of Detection would both be much easier to implement. Detect Secret Doors, See Invisible, and True Seeing would have Detection covered for House Medani. Feather Fall, Lightning Bolt, and Chain Lightning for the Mark of Storm and House Lyrandar.
Also...I must admit...
Seeing more Half-Orc mana-pits and fewer Warforged mana-pits will probably be a step in the right direction.
Unless, of course, Half-Orcs get a racial enhancement called "Healer's Enemy".
The big problem will be the massive flood of "Battle Clerics"...oh, wait....it's already here.
