    Default Drop charisma?

It's not my main, but I have a dwarven cleric (currently 11) I like to play from time to time. Since I like solo playing and find myself costantly meeleing, he's basically a fighter with maximized wisdom. I'm a hopeless type of player for that

Currently, I have 16 STR and CON, 22 WIS, and 6 CHA. I rerolled the toon for higher strength and constitution, dropping charisma.

However, I now have only 1/rest usage of DV, DH, Dol Dorn and whatever. They may become useful in parties.

I plan to do a lesser reincarnation sooner or later, so I wonder how much charisma a typical build has. I see builds with 10 or 11, probably 3/rest is fine for most healers? How do you really use turn-undead based ehnacements? Divine Cleansing is probably not much useful once you have Panacea and (later) Heal, Burn Undead may be helpful (never tried), DV sound very useful at tier 2 or 3, DH help saving mana.

Any advice? Or dwarf is a poor race for clerics? Afterall, they don't get acces to anything unique (like elves do) and extra spell points are not that much.

Dwarves make awesome clerics.Leave your cha how it is.You do not need dvs at all,But if you want them id roll a human or an elf instead of a dwarf. They dont get -to their cha.

In my opinion your build is fine and dvs arent that great anyways and deffintly not worth pumping charisma up on a dwarf

You could take 1 lv of fighter - it would help alot with your hand to hand mob clean up-

an 8 chr is ok - drop DV - with a 6 - that is getting a little low - if any of your stats get to 0 you are helpless...

how often is this an issue? no, keep it at 6, fine enough for a min/max build.

I've got base CHA 6 and it is just fine.

If you are still interested in DV's despite a low CHA: With a CHA +6 item and a +2 CHA tome (easy to acquire items), and maybe an item which gives a couple extra turns per rest (also not too hard to acquire), at end game you can DV 200-250+ SP's with an investment of ~9 AP's in DVIII and Extra Turning II, if you're inclined to do so. With a better tome or some exceptional CHA, those numbers can increase.

Dwarves are a great race for clerics for various reasons, including the ability to really up your HP's (a live cleric is the group's anti-wipe insurance policy; a dead cleric should practically be ashamed of himself ).

My modest but successful and fully functional lvl 20 has very mundane gear and resembles your character in many ways; currently he's not spec'd for DV's - if he was, he'd probably have about 30 less HP's:

In short: low CHA is AOK, with or without DV's.

Thanks, I will stay on this path. Just found a +5 cloak, will try the other advice.

Taking one level of fighter is a good advice, I will think about it.

    Thanks everyone for help.
