well, from ancient times ever since i started playing the ol school d&d i loved clerics, both ways, as a caster, and as a meleer, cleric for me just rock, and on nwn(neverwinter nights) my first go for a build was a caster cleric focused on implosion, which man, i loved, even though ppl had their sneaky ways to overcome its fortitude saves xD
still, i am looking for advices for a cleric build focused on casting, which may not necessarily imply on implosion use (because i am, new to the game i dunno if the spell exists here), but it must have a reasonable amount of ac(of hp, whichever works best), reasonable saves, and of course, high dc spells for sideeffects, and also good dmg/healing spells.
my idea would be a mix of cleric/paladin(at least 2 lvls to use paladins feats that adds up charisma on saves), but if you guys have any better advice for a cleric build, i will be really thankfull^^
note: i can as of now only make 28 point builds and have no access to anything that requires turbine points (such as classes like monk and fvs, and races like drow and warforged).
I know that given those limitations it will b pretty hard to actually pull out a decent build, but if you all could help me get a build as good as it can get, even with these limitations, it will help lots.
thanks a lot in advance
