Default A short wish list well sort of...

Just putting this out there. Wish list.

Cloaks we can visibly see on our characters. This is long overdue.

It would also be nice to get some new and interesting armor designs in game. Current armor seems old. Lets get some real plate mail designs in the game.

Im more dissapointed with the helmets. They just seem uninspiring. We need some new designs more so with helmets.

As for cloth hats where are the traditional wizards hats..cone shaped.

City. Add another city twice the size of stormreach and more activity should go inside the city such as street fights..hiding in the night..being chased by guards..A prison stockade..Introduce another city to explore. I know this is a tall request. As for this city players should have to travel physically to the other city unless they have teleport or some other means. A good excuse to introduce mounts i.e horses.

Forgotten realms: Is it possible to add Forgotten Realms somehow to the mix. Eberron is just so blah imo. It is not bad but I find Forgotten Realms to have more interesting lore..for example the UnderArk home of the drow..

Can we travel to the abyss and fight Lloths minions...

Introduce artifacts into the game. They should be rare and hard to acquire.

Thats all for now..DDO can be bigger and better..With some of the stuff above there would be no need to have F2P.

truth is that you turn it off if you have it. experienced the same in lotro. its nice for 5 minutes but as there are only few different designs and the floating is only distracting you will turn it off, promise.

Total disagree with you about the F2P comment. F2P is good for the longevity of DDO. 1 Million new players since F2P was introduced, I would say that's proof that it's working.

Some of the other stuff you mentioned is eye-candy. I don't really care about eye-candy (helms, cloaks, etc.).

New content, tougher content, new massive area would be nice.

I did like the street fight suggestion.

I agree with you on most of these points

Visable cloaks would be cool, as would visable sheathed weapons.

For armor, I am a BIG proponent of cosmetic armor skins that would be purchasable through the store. Even if they added new armor looks in game, you still couldn't control what your character looks like. Helmets would be great with purchasable cosmetic skins too. Everyone wants a Minos Legens, but it would be great if you could make it look like heavy plate, a skull cap, or even a cone wizard hat. The tri corner hat is just an example that this could be done without too much work on the dev's part.

I like the thought of another town to do street adventures in, though I don't think making it an open area would be a good idea. I think that would open up alot of griefing. I think an urban explorer area would be really sweet, and they already have an urban assault type quest with the last quest in the Sharn Sindicate line. Something similar to that on a much larger scale could be alot of fun.

It would be cool if we could adventure in other realms simply for all the lore that already exists. I like Eberon, but it does seem a little alien to me as I never played PnP in it. The Forgotten Realms would be cool, but as just about every other D&D based game takes place in it, so it may be a bit overdone. That being said, there are a cpl other worlds which have been fairly fleshed out in PnP but not in gaming that could be a blast. The Greyhawk and Dragonlance worlds come to mind. I'm personally a big fan of Greyhawk. It was the original world made by the game's creators, and spells exist today that were created by the mages of Oerth. (Mordenkainen, Tenser, Murlynd, and Otto are a few that come to mind.) Maybe I'm just being nostalgic, but I think it would be really cool to be able to meet some of these characters as NPCs. Seeing as how this game is based on D&D, no other game has the history and access to legendary characters that this game does, but it really doesn't take advantage of it.

I like your thinking about going to the abyss to fight Lolths minions. I know Lolth isn't part of the Eberon lore, but what is stoping us from finding a portal to other relams? it could work, and it doesn't have to stop at Lolth. I'm sure alot of old school PnPers would love to go against Asmodeous, Demogorgon, and even Tiamat. They would be tremendous raid bosses that could definately hold their own story arcs.

As far as "no need for F2P," I don't think F2P is going anywhere. As a business model, it works. Anything that gets more people interested in the game is a good thing, and I'm sure most F2Pers have dumped money into the store at one time or another.
Buff Rock, nerf Paper, Scissors is fine.

Have to disagree. Cloaks are nice visually and I would not hide mine.
