Default Rogue 1/Wizard x build check

I just built this character and wanted to make sure that I didn't leave out anything critically important and that I did not gimp her at the start.

I plan on using my Wizard spells and Master's Touch to get through most quests with trap disabling as a handy extra. I'm not planning on doing Elite quests above my level, so I don't anticipate TOO many problems with the traps.

I will keep Concentration, Disable Device, Search and Open Locks as high as possible and then add more skills as my Intelligence improves. I already have a +2 Int tome waiting in the bank for her.

If you see any glaring problems or anything that I left out that I'll want, please let me know. I didn't include Enhancements since I can always fix those. Fixing stat point allocation and skill point allocation is a little harder once I start using her seriously.

You should go take 2 levels of rogue for evasion.

Take a look over here: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=218205

Kind of hard to judge a build that only goes up to level 4. And really, no sense in re-inventing the wheel if you arent positive of what you are doing.

    Cool Looks decent

I personally would have taken extend spell before empower, but the meta magic feats come quickly.
Basically looks good, Will you be taking another level of rogue for evasion?
    I personaly reccomend it.
They are a blast to play and very capable rogues with the right items.
    have fun!

If you do decide to take another level of rogue, I reccomend taking it at 9th level.
Dravun , Yocoba, Daivik, and so many more.

I have a similar build and the one key thing if you are thinking of doing traps, SPOT is a very handy skill to have.

Unless you know/remember where all the traps are (which I know I can never remember all their locations), you probably should try and get your spot as high as possible to find them before someone in the party does.

It's tough to do with the splitting of the skill points. Unless you are planning on soloing a lot, you may want to skimp a bit on Concentration early on and get Spot up.

Concentration is great to have for a caster, but it is easy to mitigate by managing Agro. Also if you get quickened spell, its use drops even more (just for scroll casting).

As a splash Rogue, make sure you've got ways of boosting your skills. Disabling probably won't be a problem since you have a good INT score, but just be sure to get a hold of some of the following.

    -Potions of Fox's Cunning
    -Potions of Heroism
-Level Appropriate Item for +X to Spot/Search/Disable/OpenLock
-Thieve's Tools (+5 are the best, but get the highest you can afford)
-Rogue Boost Enhancement (+2 may come in handy on some Elite traps)

Have fun with this build. It really rocks in the early-mid levels. At higher levels it becomes a bit tricker to play but still fun.

It really depends on what you want to do with the build. I just started a wf pure wizard with a high focus on melee in the first levels (using masters touch). I would recommend to get at least 14 str (take those two points from wisdom or from con). And get extend as first wiz feat, since you will hate to cast masters touch (1 min per lvl) over and over again. I did go str 14, con 16, dex 8, int 18, wis 6, char 6 (28 point build). I'm using a greatsword and just defensive buffs and repair. No need for empower in the first levels, just rely on melee and repair.

Insightful reflexes is a must on this build, especially with two rogue lvls (evasion!)

Toughness doesn't hurt either for those additional racial toughness enhancements (I took toughness in the beginning)

For me, getting Mental Toughness early is less important, since I don't rely on damage spells in the first place, giving me enough sp for my self buffs and the occasional self repair.

    Have fun!

I'll go ahead and disagree with this. Spot is a complete waste of skill points on such a build. Concentration is more useful at every level. IMO skipping on It for spot at low levels is a horrible idea because of how low DCs are at lower levels, lvl1 rogue spare points in spot, heroism, spot item and skill boost is more than enough. Later on spot is a non issue, there's always someone that knows where traps are and you can always run into them to find them, concentration you can't replace as easily

most of all, as a self healing wf you'd have to be insane to take spot over being sure that your repairs will land when needed the most

If you are going /1 rogue, you should go /2 rogue. If you are sacrificing the capstone, at least get evasion for it.
Editing everything i post, since day 1. Things make much more sense inside my head.
