Default Critique my stat array for Halfling assassin 3

    Hi there.

I'm making a STR based assassin 3 Halfling of True Neutral persuasion, and utilising Khopeshes for his stabbity stab-stab, stabbin'.

Here is my 32 pt build stats (and feats), and my reasoning for their placement (Note, I researched on the forums about stats and rogues before settling on this build, race and style for quite a while):

Str 14 (which acts like a 16 to hit due to halfing bonus, but sadly, not to damage)

Con 14 (Better than 12, worse than 16)

INT 16 (The extra skill points are nice, as I can max out Haggle, UMD, Spot, Jump, Search, Disable Divice, Open Lock, Balance, Hide, Move Silently and Diplomacy. After the +2 Int Tome at lvl 7 I'll be able to max out another one, I'm thinking either listen or something. Probably overkill for skills at that stage. Also the high Int helps with ASSASSINATE ability, granted by Assassin II)

Dex 16 (Not the highest, but not bad either, granting an inherent +3 mod to reflex and skills)

Wis 8 (Here is where I think I am missing out, due to slippery mind being more useful the higher this stat is. Oh well, maybe when I TR)

Cha 8 (Dumpity Dump Dump Stat. Sure I could benefit from a higher Cha, but if I had to pick a dump stat, it's Cha all the way)

    *Feats I plan on:
Lvl 1 - Two Weapon Fighting
    Lvl 3 - Proficiency Khopesh
Lvl 6 - Oversized Two Weapon Fighting
Lvl 9 - Improved Two Weapon Fighting
Lvl 12 - Improved Critical: Slashing
Lvl 15 - Greater Two Weapon Fighting
    Lvl 18 - Toughness

*Currently I'm at work, and so cannot check if these are in the right order, but these are the ones I've settled on.

So, what are your thoughts on this set-up?

Thanks in advance for any comments,

    Ginetti

Move Toughness down. I personally love having Toughness at level 1 or 3 - the HP gained from Enhancements can increase your HP by 50-100% at those levels. Move the TWF feats upwards to accomodate (or possibly Khopesh, if you don't have a good selection of twink weapons).

I think you are into skill overkill =D
Suggest dropping intelligence by 2 points, and put those points elsewhere.
I would consider dropping dex by another 1, and using a +2 dex tome sometime before you pick up improved two weapon fighting.

Toughness in early levels is a very powerful feat, when you consider the toughness enhancements, suggest grabbing it earlier.

EWP Kopesh can wait for endgame levels, if you do not already have them to play around with, or a large twinking fund. If you do have them, ignore this suggestion =D
    Occasionally playing on Cannith

If you are taking kopesh for the increase in dps but don't have power attack you really haven't gained anything. You really need to figure out a way to fit in power attack.

My 2 cp: lower your Int and take a splash of either monk or fighter so you can get Power Attack at high levels. It is great, especially for boss fights or with Radiance.

I agree with those who say your INT's too high: you don't need max Balance & Jump IMHO, just alternate points between them. Lower INT to 14 and move the extra points into DEX and/or WIS. I also agree you should go with a monk or fighter splash for an extra feat or two. And maybe you could rijigger your feats to get the Dragonmarks?
