I know its an old quote, but i'll respond to this because it would sum up a lot of the stuff.
Agreed, but wonder if it would really make those people satisfied, they mostly want a big non-instanced world, not exactly run a marathon to get in shape.
Well, nothing is too far away when you have flying boats, actually, 3BC even has a Boat quest already that could serve the purpose of traveling there really well.I am fine with that, it with the new quests in the Hills and upcoming Searing Hieghts, its fine. 3BC is too far away without the Tangleroot option...that should be fixed.
I agree, i like the spread of quests in areas like the Hills, Meridia, the Sub, Desert, Shavarath, Its exactly the right amount of traveling im willing to go for IMO, anything more than that and it would take too long.I don't want LotRO, as much as I think it add flavour, but what DDO has now, for the m ost part, is acceptible.
I don't know, maybe Shamis got a point there, maybe there is a demand for Fedex quests and collect 10 Yeti pelts with a drop rate of 100/1...I do disagree about the 1,000's of stupid quests.l
Im kinda being ironic here, but there could be simple quests that ended up being fun to do several times in different ways... there are whole multiplayer games out there that give playmodes that are essentially the same but people still play over and over (although the pvp aspect is what drives them the most)
Perhaps we could look outside of MMOs to see quest ideas that can be re-used frequently but would not be retarted or unfun.
