Chances are you just had a run-in with an nuber (uber noob) or what ever you want to call them. Seen it a lot lately.

Most you can do is /squelch them and keep them on your black list. Move along and continue having fun. Personally, I would care less if someone claims to be better than me. I build and play my toons the way I want to and could really care less what others think of them.

I don't follow the 'build of the day'.
I don't take a useless splash level for skill points or class ability.
Don't like my toons, then don't group with me. Period.

Why does it seem people need a reason on why they're declined from a party more lately?

If you're being declined take it as a fortunate message and move on. Either look for another group or start your own.

Worst part for me is when trying to join PUG raids or Epic content. My guild is small and has very few high level toons. Tried to join an VoN 1-2 Epic and my request just sat there till they filled party. The most they can do is say, "Sorry, don't know you." or "You are too squishy." or anything along those lines, or maybe a simple decline. Got ignored from an Elite VoD, so I joined a Hard Shroud only to be accepted 15 min later in the Shroud. Of course they got told I was in another party.

dont worry Bro. Epic groups are weird that way, tried to sign up for a bunch of them yesterday but in the ones being done by some the same people i got no response whatsoever.

This is quite normal, and Epic can be a huge drain on resources if not done right so its only fitting that some groups will be extra careful.

These days when i see certain people in an Epic LFM i don't expect or wait for an answer anymore.

Context man, context. We can't get properly outraged on your behalf without some more information.

Were you within the requested level range?

Were you of the requested classes?

If there were any other stipulations (member of XYZ guild, specific build, know your way, know ABC puzzle, etc), did you meet them?
