I am attempting to build a survivable dps type. However, this is my first real attempt at character planning and I wanted to know if this would be at all feasible, or is it just going to be gimped. Things like, should I just go the 18/2 or 12/6/2 route.

Also, as I'm fairly new, +1 tomes are about all I can afford atm.
