I'm also looking at your low wis, and feel you may feel the lack later on,esp since you state that you want to rely on ki strikesMost ki strikes rely on wis for thier saves DC's, a 10 wis means 16 total with +6 gear, which is a measly 3 wis mod, total save at 20 being 23. 23 DC on finishers/fists/palm is VERY low and most mobs won't fail a save except on a 1.
Also, that pathetic con WILL hurt you, no question about that. If hes lower than lv 10 i'd personally re-roll him now. You want 16 starting con(if 32 pt build) for earth IV stance(for the strikes, not the stance) and min 14 starting con if 28 pt build.
A monk can get by with lowish str and still be mid to top dps.
(a 16/16/16 dex/con/wis monk, halfling, all level ups into wis ends with 20/30/24/10/30/10 stats with relevent +6 stat gear -str, con, dex, wis- and inside wind IV, and has NO damage issues. A monk in wind IV with full TWF tree makes an ungodly number of attacks, and paired with a nice greater bane can REALLY cook up the damage.)
