    Default 2WF Human bardbarian

I have been trying to put together my first multiclass build and would appreciate your help.

The idea is to be able to buff up, enter a rage and then kill with lots of things with a pair of rapiers.

I used human for the extra feat and to get a decent starting str, dex, con and cha. I looked at Drow / WF but couldnt get the stats as high.

I took 2 levels of rogue for skills and evasion (didnt bother with any disable device or open lock)
I took 3 levels of barbarian for extend and extra rage.

    ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Good

    Stats:

    Lvl 1: Lvl 20:

    Str 16 Str 22
    Dex 15 Dex 16

Why are you taking 3 barb lvls, and not 2?

I think the third level of Barbarian gives you the Power Rage and Hardy Rage (Other than that, I don't know).

If they aren't worth the level then I'll go for something different.

    Two Weapon Defense...Bad
You don't have Improved Two Weapon Fighting...Bad

The problem with a Bard/Barb build is that people think they can go into a rage and whack everything to pieces and come out alive. It works with pure Barbs because they get d12 hitpoints per level, and pure attack bonuses per level so they can survive. Your CHA is to high, I suggest 12. Also, rapiers aren't the greatest weapons out there at all.

Thanks for the feedback Cyadra, what weapons would you suggest instead of rapiers?

Would it be worth swapping the 2 Weapon Defence for something like Khopesh or would the extra feat be better used elsewhere?

I don't think the build gets to the required BAB (or maybe Dex) to take Improved 2WF.

I have been playing the build which is now at 4th level Rogue 2 / Bard 1 / Barbarian 1.
I have solod Korthos on elite and found it has been quite fun to play.

I haven't built a multiclass before so I am more than happy to listen to experience.

I built something similiar before, my suggestions:

If you want to rage up and go in and kill lots of things, then you want the best single handed weapon so you would need to go with a kopesh. You don't need 14 CHA, go down to 12 and pump up the CON. Swap the pierce stuff for slashing. You might want to throw in max spell feat when you need to heal yourself. It is a fun build, but you will need all the hp's you can get. I personally went 2 fighter instead of rogue for the feats, better hp, and str bonus.

If you aren't dead set on going 2WF this build did better for me with DPS:

    2 Barb/2 Fight/16 Bard
Dwarf take all your axe enhancements. Get a carnifex axe.
Max out str and go 18 Con, rest into CHA. Take the standard 2HF feats and toughness, forget about AC in this build.
Max out your negotiate skill, while in a party use the negotiate skill to get mobs off of you, then come from behind them and wack them.
With the carnifex ax, raged, with the fighter haste boost, maxed out CON, and massive STR, not much survives especially when it doesn't want to attack you!
