    Default Did I hose up my feats?

    I have been wondering about my feats, and if i screwed up. I try and see what people recommend, etc.

    So anyways, I hit 15 yesterday and picked my last 2 feats (Drow Wizard).

    L1 Mental Toughness
    L1 Toughness
    L3 Heighten
    L5 Spell Focus: Enchantment
    L6 Extend
    L9 Improved Mental Toughness
    L10 Enlarge
    L12 Empower
    L15 Maximize
    L15 Spell Penetration

    So I don't have Greater Spell Penetration. This worries me regarding monsters with greater resistance/saves.

    Also, my current Enhancement setup.

    Drow Spell Resistance I (filler)
    Elven Spot I (filler)
    Improved Empower I
    Improved Enlarge I
    Improved Heighten I
    Racial Toughness II
    Spell Critical Chance Fire/Cold III
    Spell Critical Multiplier Fire/Cold II
    Spell Damage Amplification Fire/Cold IV
    Energy of the Scholar IV
    Wizard Int III

    In combat I wield Superior Potency VI and Spell Penetration VII scepters/staves

    I should probably remove Enlarge, I hardly ever use it.
    I am also thinking ditch the critical enhancements and just go for damage multipliers
    I obviously need spell penetration enhancements.

    Is there any point into dumping into Drow Spell Resistance/ Elven Enchantment Resistance? Will
    those stack with magical spell resistances?

    I think you are on the right path with dumping Enlarge, I would probably take quicken for that slot. You always have your lvl 20 wiz feat to pick it back up again should you want to.

    As for enhancements, IMO the spell resistance and enchantment save increase should be used just as fillers, in fact if you can find a different filler then i would go with those, even elven spot would be better as it helps you see hidden enemies.

    I also don't think that the Energy of the Scolor III an IV are worth the benifit to cost for them. Those 7 AP's are better spent on Improved Maximize or your Spell Pen enhancements.

    Yeah, I remember reading someone saying dump those and stick into improved heighten/maximize/etc to drop spell costs instead of bumping spell points.

    First, enlarge does what the damage multipliers do. Second, Do not ditch your crits.

    At level 16, your extra damage means nothing. Your crits mean everything. with crits maxed and the multiplier at 2.75, and percent to crit maxed....a firewall turns into a crit wall a lot of the time, saving you mana and being way better than doing 50 extra damage. Think long term buddy.

    All enlarge does is increase the range of the spell, it has nothing to do with the damage it causes.

    Am I missing something or you should gain a feat at 18 also. So one then and lvl 20 wiz.
