    Default Fighter Armor Mastery Bugged?

    Is Fighter Armor Mastery bugged?

The Enhancement is supposed to increase the Max Dexterity bonus on you armor by +1. But my Mithril Full Plate+1 is only giving me a Max Dexterity Bonus of 3. By my calculations, a Normal Full Plates Dex Bonus is 1, then Mithril increases it by two, and Armor Mastery should increase it by another 1.

    1 + 2 + 1 = 4

What is the deal? Is it a display bug or something more critical?

You wouldn't happen to be medium encumbered? Otherwise, I'm not sure what's going on.

Whats the Plus on the Armor? DO you have any AC Feats?
    10 Base Armor
    8 Full Plate
    4 Dex
    ---
    22AC

So if the armor is +2 Mithral Full Plate your perfect.

I've noticed a few minor display glitches related to Dexterity and Armor Mastery and the Stalwart PrE.

First, the armor and shields you use will NOT display a different "Max Dex" number when you hover over your item. However! it will display the correct "Ac with Dexterity Mod" when you hover over. Thus you get confusing numbers like

    FullPlate (With Armor Mastery 1 + 2 and Stalwart 1 + 2) Dex = 20 (+5) (Only Stalwart 2 increases heavy armor Dex)
    Ac = 8
    Max Dex = 1
    Ac w/dex = 12

Clearly this is confusing, (it was for me!)

Also, sometimes your AC number in your character sheet won't update with the correct AC after apply new dex mods. However it you hover over the AC box and get the break down, it adds it up to the correct number. I find logging usually solves this.

Over all, It can be somewhat confusing, especially for new players to figure out what their "True Max Dex" is.

The AC on your equipment sheet is your real AC as of when you are looking at it, and tends to update correctly and sooner.

The AC on your character sheet tends not to update as quickly.
