has anyone else noticed this?

today i was doing waterworks questline on my elite with a guildy.I am lv 8 monk and when i checked the xp box it said i have done it 7 times on elite difficulty (but i havent only done 2 times on this setting) did this questlines on Hard (difficulty 5 times) and i also did stormvide mines (on casual setting maybe 5 times) and when i tried on Normal it said that i have done it on NOrmal setting more times than i have done it.Not sure if this is a bug? from what i remember when i did these 2 quests on my lv 10 Monk it never did this to me.i will be checking some of the other quests i have not done on elite to see if they show this on the xp status page

If im not mistaken, the times completed is cumulative and you only not get the penalty for it on the 1st time you do it in a new setting.

This is correct!!!

So first time running casual, normal, hard and elite will not give you a hit for repeating, but each of those settings count for the number of times you have run the quest!!!

Dragon Lord is correct, only the first time you complete a quest on a given difficulty do you not see a penalty. This is why when running for max experience the preferred progression is either NNNHE, or HHHNE because you receive no penalty for running a quest the first three times you run it, or the first time you run a new difficulty.

It is saying how many times you have done it on any difficulty. But you'd know that already if you just read what it says, without making assumptions about what you think it should mean.

It only takes away the repetition penalty the first time you do it on a new difficulty.
